It looks like a Lupo GTI engine or 20v engine is going to be a no go for me, as its too much hard work, i need a plug and play engine to get it on the road again asap.

If you could find out Tom, if we could collect it from you on Sunday 22nd June then we'll have it off you.

Not a problem Tom, can get a deposit to you.

Another option rather than us drive the 5 hours down there, would be that i could have a pallet delivered and arrange for the engine and bits to be collected by a courier, but it would mean i would need you to pack it up on the pallet for us.

Or we can come down as i said on Sunday 22nd June.

*) get everything removed from the car that you've sold on monday, ready for collection tuesday by pallet/courier

Well over 3 months later, I am still awaiting the following, (which I paid you for in good faith Back in June)

Immobiliser Box (The engine is no good without this as it will not run)
Drive Shafts
Brakes
Engine Cover
Exhaust (Mid & Back Box)
Air Box
Steering Wheel
Some Money Back for not supplying the Wiring Loom (Which I had to buy separate from some one else)

As I have explained to you, my MOT is due at the end of the month and the car will not run without that immobiliser box. If the Polo was running before it was handed to the garaged then it MUST have had the immobiliser box, as it would not run without it.
I have a pic of what the Immobiliser box looks like, in case it is getting mixed up with something else.

I would appreciate it if we can sort this out once and for all now, as I cannot have my car sat on the road without an MOT.

it should be located directly above the fusebox, under the headlight switch, and isnt easy to see (need to put head by footwell/base of seat and look up, with the lower dash cover removed), held in by two screws.

the backbox is £530 at VW alone [no one else makes them...] , and we didnt want to have to fork out £300 for a stainless one making...

Get your arse into that garage, and get all these bits off the car. i'm really annoyed now, this has gone too far.

No where on the ad does it say that the buyer would have to wait over 3 months for the bits, it says avaliable form the 1st July. This is ridiculous.

I need the rest of the bits we paid for over 4 months ago now.

I said yestarday via text to you that i am prepared to drive the 5 1/2 hour journey this weekend if i have to, to collect the items. But it would be saturday night when we got there, and i would want to meet YOU, not the guys at the garage where the bits are.

I'm so annoyed about all this, you shouldnt have advertised this all for sale untill your car was finished and you had all these bits ready to go. Instead I feel you've just taken our money and left us in the lurch.

Please arrange for the rest of the bits to be shipped to me or send me half the money back, So we can go buy the bits we need that you haven't sent.

I text Tom a couple of times and he didnt reply.

I then text him again this morning asking him to let me know what was going on, as Rae is ready to go to the police, but i dont't want it to get that far jsut sort it out.

I got a reply within 5 minutes.

i have never once said you arent getting the last couple of parts or anything like that, i have also stayed in contact when i can. i run a business and do not have time to text people all day.

the car is very close to being finished at last, it has had set backs due to matters i wont discuss and that were way out of my control. the garage will not give me all the parts you need untill they have finished.

i also did offer to give you your money back before the engine, box and ecu were sent up to you. you said it would be easier to carry on.

a lot of members on here know me personally and will agree that i am not on here to scam anyone, i have no need to and also i like the scene and the people so getting myself a bad reputation will do me no favours.
