If you can get me all the numbers that are on the sticker on the ECu then I can see what version it is a what type of eprom it uses.

then we took the cover of the euu and there was a sticker on the chip which said
DELCO
AWMS
0648
then there were a load of numbers on the chip too
014
89338*
AA9224B
hope this is enough info Alan were jst going to get another ecu while you have the other one! Also could you give me a rough price on how much it is going to cost or will it be the same as mine???

I tried to look up the ECU code and have not made an exact match to the listings I have, this is not a major problem but I will need the ECU for a couple of days to read the original code from the original chip. I think the ECU will require a socket and I will be able to do this when I have the ECU.
Was that all the details from the outside of the ECU. Can you confirm the engine cc and valves IU assume its 1.6 8v but I not up on vauxhall cars.
Price wise I thnk will probably be £60, will be more if it turns out to have a surface mounted Eprom.

it's a 1.4 8v SRI were in the process of getting another ECU which we can bang in while we send the orginal of to you!The ecu number was on the outside of the casing and the rest of the numbers were either on the chip or a sticker on the chip!
