seems overkill to use G40 injectors on a standard gt?

i've already put a problems bit in the engine section..
my gt went caput! then i fitted G60 greens in my G40.
so then had spare g40 inj to fit to gt as the gt ones didn't work at all..
it solved the promlem in the gt and then ran fine if you held the adjustment on the airflow meter

ah fair enough. a bit of a remap should sort it out then! can you not play with the afm to get it running right? i guess its running far too rich so just lean it off on the afm to get it running properly?

by doing what exactly tho ?
if a push the little arrow bit inside the afm up it keeps the car runnin, presuming this gives it more air ?
i tried moving the silver clip that holds the geared cog which tensions the springs but it wont budge??
ill just try the mappin and then go from there

that silver clip can be moved lol you just have to give it a bit of welly! move the clip and turn the cog anticlockwise till the car runs. Get the car up to temp, unplug the blue sender and rev it 3 times to 3000rpm, then open up the afm and turn the cog until the revs are at their highest, then plug the sender back in and rev it 3x3000rpm again. This should get it running roughly right.

Get your GT injectors refurbished, with out a custom map you will never get it running correctly.

oki doki, I'm sourcing some gt injectors but will can you do a wee chip for me as a standard gt?
it will have panel filter and de-cat.
maby higher limiter?
