Was just wondering what everyones thoughts would be on ClubLupo joining up with the CP show. We have been trying to organise something for a while and were thinking it would make sense to join up with your show. More the merrier with these shows/meets anyway.

I tottally understand if you feel it should just be a club thing but thought id put it out there.

I think it would be good make it both clubs possibly even the vr6 boys (I know there were some negative things last year but I have always loved vr6s n can't believe I missed this years show!) It would also be good central uk, we could spread the costs over the clubs!

i never managed to get to the polo show but am def planning too next year so would be sweet if lupo guys be jioning on!

the thinking at the moment goes something like this:

- we will book the polo show in the same place as per usual. We've had the same field for a few years and want to keep it there and we do generally fill the field.
- club lupo organise a "The Lupo Show" or whatever, book a field at billing the same weekend as us and just make sure it's a field next to ours.

I think that's the best way to do it. Having both shows the same time is a good idea I think. It's not going to work just all in the same plot at billing as we generally fill our field up. There wouldn't be room in our field to have both shows with their own show & shines etc...

CL could have theirs on that opposite field where UKMKIV's had theirs last year..

Does the above mean that you would have to pay to go to one show and pay to go to the other? Just if so that could turn out expensive, but I've never been to Polo Show so don't know how much it is anyways.

But I'm deffo going this year, if there is Lupos to look at all the better

I'll definately be at the show this year... if there's some sexy Lupo's to admire as well then that'd be cool imo.

Naa Cutmore... you essentially pay for your plot, after that, you can walk round the whole place, it's a great venue, and next year we defo need to sort out a mini tournament on the go karts!

you just pay for entry into billing, club polo charge nothing.

We will hopefully be booking our plot very soon then as close to yours as possible, are we going to advertise this as a joint this yeah? like on your front page? think it will boost the attendance and let those know who havnt seen this thread.

Yeah! Sick idea! I got a soft spot for lupos. Definitely try get a field next to the poloshow field.

the man from del monte he says yes! i think its a good idea my best mate and a few others from hull got lupos and i think they would be up for it i went to poloshow this year and the venue is perfect and i didnt mind driving there but i will defo camp next year

I've never been to the polo show but its a defo for 2010 for me! i recon be really kool for club lupo to link up as well

This years show at Billing was 1000 times better than that other
place we were at the year before.When we arrived there,it had
been raining all day and all the level ground had been claimed.We
really all wanted to go home but ended up pitching our tents on a
hill that had a stream running down the middle of it it.

This is an awesome idea IMO last time i saw a Lupo GTI i may have leaked a bit of coolant in my boxers lol

Was an epic fail tbh we got there real early and still ended up rolling out of bed both mornings! Pissed it down just as was enjoying a smoke so lucky with the timing. Facilities were abit pants as well.

Anyway........Billing is many times better so shouldn't have those problems ever again and having another club join in just seems the best idea IMO to make the show evolve into something massive

i´ve talked to a guy of the clublupoboard. as far as he recommended, they would be kinda satisfied. so those guys would have a chance to see how classical dubs look like (referring to <mk3) lupos are schweet

That field is booked and paid by R-fest this year But I haven't even had a chance to pop down there and check the actual size of the field yet so not sure if we'll even fill it. I was told it can hold 200 cars so once you factor in a few tents and the estimated 60 or so people turning up for our show i'm sure there will be some spare space for the Lupo boys and girls. It may be an on-the-day decision though!

Maybe if the CP field could be organised so theres definate camping areas, we might be able to arrange the space better.

Doubt they'd be able to come in Puddleduck with us as we have enough space problems with the amount of Polo's in there, Sunday especially!

If they can book an adjacent field like the UKMKIV and R32 guys then that'd work, 4 little shows to walk around

i really dont understand how this works i take it there is more than one field and there are more than one club there but how many and do you all go looking round the other fields and how much does it cost or am i just being thick

sweet although i will remember not to get lashed and nearly fall in this time!

Basically, imagine a MASSIVE plot of land, acres of the stuff, which has then been seperated into individual plots (fields/parks etc) and one big main entry gate with roads that lead around to each individual plot
If its the same place I'm thinking of anyway poloshow 06 and 07???? not been to one since then
