here's how i did it I'm board so i did a step by step
light in oven gas mark 7 for 10min's

then slowly prise the glass off (very carefull shit )

once off, mask the middle out with masking tape, and sand the areas you want to spray

that spray with high heat matt black (or what ever colour you want)

then let to dry.
when dry de-mask it and stick the glass back on, i used silicone sealer.

then leave foe the silicone to dry, i had my dinner then


i also did my indicators, by spraying bit by bit into the midle where to bulb goes untill i was happy.

then slat them all back in

IMO it would look much better in the middle

I can't see why they would be illegal, as the parts being tinted are the ones that are not used to reflect light. As long as the main bowl (that Rolo has masked off) remains reflective they shouldn't greatly affect visibility.

I run a pair of the DJ Auto smoked front headlights (available off the shelf tinted, but the downside is they're only available in left hand drive), and have sat an MOT with them with no problems, and find them no bother at night. I have had to adjust them downwards slightly (due to them being LHD) so I don't blind other road users (too much).

I've just done this and the masking pulled bits off the reflectors off? Can Anyone shed anylight on this?

What kind of tape did you use?

Decorators masking tape I guess would be the best thing.
