Batch has arrived, so if anyone is after them, give me a shout.

Easy enough to fit, will need a press to get them in, and you re use the metal insert from your old bushes. They are just the rubbers. Similar to the groupbuy mounts that have been ran previously except I have had these made in .65 shore rating rather than the .50/.55 so they are a bit stiffer than previous lots and should stop any unwanted engine movement well. They are coming in at £35 each mount, or I will do a full set of 3 for £95 delivered.

Give me a PM if you are interested in ordering.

Is that 35 posted? Put me down for one please.

Also if I'm going for just one these, which mount is the best place to put it? Top gearbox mount?

I have got a set of Phil's prototypes on my G40, and they have transformed the car really.

At first i just stuck the rear one on, and it made a great improvement, reduced the engine movement no end. Before i had a little exhaust knocking under load, this was gone smile.gif

Fitted the other two and they have helped to control things much better now.

I had a set of the original ones on my GT and yes they were better than standard, but still way too soft. With midly tuned GT there was still a lot of movement. Now with a midly tuned G40 engine there is a lot less movement, dispite there being around 45% more power smile.gif

All in all, i would highly recommend them. I am going to be getting another set for my high powered G40 that i am building (well around 170 bhp)

Phil can you stick me down for a set when they are in, please smile.gif

Glad they sorted the motor out Mark, I think the original batch were softer than the .55 rating thinking about it, either way sounds like they've done the trick. Have you noticed any extra vibrations or disadvantages to them?

Good stuff phil, may need another set of engine mounts soon, i'll let you know.

As for fitting i got the ones off the group buy in with a polo sus turret top-cap, lube, two bits of wood and a vice (sounds kinky!).

Sounds a bit of a pikey method, but it's not what you've got, it's what you do with it wink.gif

lol.gif Fair enough, if its works without damaging the bush then its all good.

Engine mounts back in stock. Now black in colour and a touch stiffer.

Everyone's on back order should be with them within a couple of days.
