Timing belt and water pump change!

Can anybody tell me what do i have to do if the two indentations do not line up at the same time ? When the pulley on the top of engine is lined up, the bottom one is off by about 1-2 centimeters.

Release the tensioner, remove the belt, turn the crankshaft to the correct mark and ensure the camshaft is still on the mark, then refit the belt and adjust the tensioner, then turn the engine over by hand twice to ensure you don't have any problems, check the timing marks are still on the marks, then your good

do not try and start it untill youre 110% sure its right

Put a 20mm?  socket on a half inch rachet and crefully turn it by hand once the makes are aligned and the belt on. 

 

Itll get stiff at one  point but will do a full rotation. If it sticks and wont budge dont force it to hard

19mm    and only turn clockwise via the crank
