Hi, this is my first post on the forum and thought I’d share some pictures of the 4-1 manifold Ive built for my 2F breadvan 38mm primary’s into a 4-1 merge collector with a 2” exit it’s all made of 304 stainless steel and back purged TIG welded.
I have struggled for a few hours, without luck, to get the bolts in that hold the stage 2 subframe to the MAXRPM ARB blocks and bodywork. I have put the ARB into the lower control arms first but not all the way in and loosened the ARB bracket on the offside front wing. Without the ARB blocks, I can just about get the bolts started but with the ARB blocks, it's impossible. I have no evidence that the car has been in a major accident and the engine is not in the car. The LCAs have nylon bushes in it which allows little flexibility. Possibly if I tap the ARB forwards, I may get the bolts closer
Hello polo people, I have recently installed ARB blocks on my mk2f and not long after its developed a loud knocking noise from the nearside front when driving, not just over bumps or turning seems to be pretty random really. The only thing I can think of is the outer track control bush is worn out. Any help would be appreciated.
