  1. Hi there, new to the forum. I own a 1987 mk2 polo fox coupe. The car has been restored inside and out but i am now looking for more power. The car currently runs the 1.0L 4 speed engine. I am wondering what swaps have people carried out and how easy it is. Looking into a vr6 swap at the moment. Any suggestions or can anyone point me in the right direction. Cheers
  2. This topic has been covered by a few.. but I need more help/information. I have a Polo 56 plate (2006) apart from having no boot (Hatch) light either.. 😞 I would like to fit a 12v supply in the back of the hatch/boot. I'm 'told' that there is already a cable out of the wiring loom for one but I don't know which side of the rear compartment it is. I have searched and cannot find a photo of the socket in place on a Polo (any Polo) If anyone has fitted one the cable colour coding would be a big advantage. Also coming from the fuse box it will already be protected in the circuit. I could run a cable via a piggy back fuse as I have for the parking sensors but don't want unnecessary work if a cable is there already 🙂 Any help is appreciated.
  3. Hello im new here :) I want to fit a cone filter with pipes to my 1.2 12V but unsure on how to do this. If the air filter was separate I would find this easier to do but where is the MAF? what are the 2 hoses connected to the engine cover? Do I need them? Any help will be appreciated thanks!
