  1. Hi, I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I have a VW Polo 9N3 1.2 S 64 which comes with central locking. However I do not have remote central locking so I decided to purchase a comfort control module, model number 6Q0 959 433 E,which I believe can receive remote signals. However when I looked under my dash I noticed that I have a completely different module and have no idea on how to remove it. The current CCM module Model I have in my car is 6Q1 937 049 D. I have not seen any video tutorials or guides with my specific CCM model, but I have read numerous amounts of forums which say replacing the 9N3 CCM's are really easy to replace and that thhe model I purchased will fit right in. I do mot think this is the case for my car :( How would I go about getting remote central locking? Thanks!

    Central locking key fob

This may have already been answered, I picked up my new (to me) Polo sport on Saturday for the first few times both remote locked & unlocked the doors but since Monday morning the remotes have started to play up, one will neither lock or unlock and the other will only lock the car but not unlock. It may only be a battery issue but before I start messing around with the key fobs and batteries I would just like some advice from the experts out here. Many thanks Sophie.
  3. Hi, I bought a 06 polo about a month ago and it only came with one key which was not a flip key and didn't have buttons open and close the car I have to manually open the car with the key. which was just a inconvenience of it looked around and found a way to just programme the key fob. so I went ahead and bought a unprogrammed and uncut flip key from rclick.co.UK in hope that I could use only the remote part of the key (here is a link to the key is bought : http://www.rclick.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=56&products_id=1086 ). I have tried a lot of things to programme the remote to the car but nothing seems to work. any help i can get would be much appreciated . P.S I am sorry if this question has been already answered ....if it has been answered could u direct me to the thread
  4. I'm looking for the wiring digram for the Polo 6N I'm trying to install a Remote Central Locking kit which needs to be wired up.
  5. Hi there everyone, First post on here so be gentle haha. I recently bought an X reg polo SE 1.4 and it came with a fob but it has no chip inside it. I really want to set up remote locking on it. What's the best course of action for this? Do I buy a blank fob that has a chip and programme it to my car? I've also read that some 6n2s don't have remote locking at all so I'm pretty unsure of what to do? Any help would be appreciated :)

    Remote noob

Hi all, Sorry if this has been asked/answered already, I did have a look through several search results and threads but couldn't find a definitive answer. Starting out on mods for my polo (reached its old age, decided not to sell it so its going to be run until she dies ) and first on my list is remote centrel locking. After some looking around online I found I could either get the OEM style following this guide http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=204921 or go for a third party one with slightly more features. Being the gadget man I am I decided to get as much as possible into it, so I found this: http://www.rclick.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=762 Seems to do pretty much everything a modern car would, but squeezed into a little ole 9n (plus the remote start/roll up windows would annoy my Dad who's brand new car does't have these functions) Has anyone had any experience with these kits? The low price is tempting but will I sacrifice quality? (I don't want to be locked out my car when the spare is 140 miles away haha) My next question is if I was to go for the remote start option which requires a key to be mounted in the car, would I be able to buy a blank key and transponder chip, program the chip to the car and use it as the mounted one, meaning I Have 1 spare, 1 to drive with and one to mount? Having done some reading it seems I can swap the transponders from my old keys to the new ones in the kit, and then program the new one by following step 9 from the above guide? Or am I being vastly optimistic? Any help would be greatly appreciated, not as good as wiring and car electrics as I would like to be! Pepy
