mk2 polo power posted a topic in Bodywork, Interior and TrimHi guys, How do you remove what would be the rear door card on a mk2f coupe (apart from there is no rear doors). Not sure what its called Rear interior trim panel for passengers. https://volkswagen.7zap.com/en/rdw/polo+derby+vento-ind/po/1992-120/8/867-84000/#3 Can see on etka little screw at bottom - that's fine. But how do the clips at the top near the window work? Don't want to break anything. Do seats/rear bench need to come out? Any help much appreciated.
Why is nothing on these vw cars straight forward? Everything has to be overly designed. Of coarse except for the rubbish lock designs -_- i just guess vw dont want enthusiastics to work on their own cars and take it into vw... I've read guides on how to remove the handle. Undo the torx screw and then apparently they magically come out. Well this car has central locking and theres a gold plate going between a slot at the back of the lock mechanism. Its connected to what looks like a central locking pump... I cant figure out how to make the little gold plate piss out out the way so i can remove the handle. Looking at it it has to go down somehow.. Ive stripped the interior door off to try prod around and had no joy. Please someone help. HELP.
Hi everyone, I'm struggling to remove the alternator from a 1994 VW Polo MK2F AAU. The bolt, which the alternator pivots around, touches the chassis wall and won't budge. I've made a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUxVYt-CSO0 The Haynes manual suggests that the bolt should come out but I think its referring to the G40, and the bolt mounts the other way around? Can someone offer a suggestion? Thank you,
