  1. Hi polo people. Hope you're all well. Had an issue with fuel smell in my breadvan recently. Turned out to be breather pipe not connected to filler neck properly. Only just had to put fuel in but the tank is now too high! Can't get nozzle in filler neck properly. Whatever i put in just gets spat back out. I'm gonna call the garage again today. How easy is it to drop the fuel tank down just about 1/4 inch? Maybe less. Can it be done pretty quick and painless? I know the garage will take it back and sort it but it may not happen for a day or two. Thanks for stopping by and any help you can give.
  2. Here’s a weird one for you. Ive not had to adjust my wing mirrors for a while, but just used the adjuster to check if I was in the parking bay I was taking a stab at. Switched the knob to right mirror and moved it. Thought ‘that’s odd, I can hear movement the other side’. Turns out if I switch the knob to the left mirror, it adjusts just the left mirror. If I switch it to the right, it adjusts both mirrors... obviously the workaround is adjust both with the right then get the left one correct with the left adjustment. A pain in the backside though, and ideally I’d like them both working as they should. Any ideas on this? Last time i adjusted them before this I’m certain they both worked independently. Also both seem to be a little lazy when adjusting now, not as smooth as before. At 120 a side on ECP id ideally like to avoid buying new mirrors! Its a 2002 9N polo, AWY engine code. Any advice gratefully appreciated as ever. Cheers!
