My 9N Polo (2002) has a issue with the Instrument Cluster. Everytime I turn the Ignition Key on, the Trip and Clock have reset to 0KM and 0:00 and the Immobilizer doesn't always allow the Motor to be started. Leave the Key in the run position for a second or two and it will then start and run fine. Both Trip and Clock work perfectly once the Motor is running. Is there a permanent feed to the Instrument Cluster that may be failing? On a few rare occasions the entire Instrument Cluster has been dead until many lock and unlock the door cycles. This problem has escalated over many months from being very intermittent to now being constant.
Hi, I’m currently having a problem on my polo 6n 1995 where if I put my key in the ignition barrel and turn it once my rev counter dial will start going crazy and it doesn’t stop unless I take the key out and leave it for a few seconds but if I put the key in again it starts again and it’s only my rev counter none of my other dials do it 🤦🏻♂️ Anybody know why? Hey all, I need to change the inlet temperature sensor in my polo 9n, but I have to remove the entire dashboard in order to do so. I have the instructions of how to do it, but was advised against taking it apart because its impossible to fit back together in the same way?? Has anyone got anyone taken the dash off of a 9n and managed to put it back without any creaking/noises coming? Let me know Thanks!
Hi guys, I currently have a problem with my car and just wondering if anyone can help me out at all. The EPC signal is coming up on my car and I'm not really sure what it is. My car is currently not in use as I'm no longer learning in it and waiting for my test to come up, this has caused a flat battery. The battery went flat the other month and I jump started it using a friends car and on that day the car worked and drove perfectly fine and no signals came up, however it's not been used since, hence the flat battery again, but a few days after this I checked the car again and the EPC light came on. Does anyone know what the problem may be when this signal appears and if it's easily fixable? Thanks :)
