  1. The boot lock on my 6n (central locking removed) has stopped working properly. I can now only unlock the door by turning the key slightly to the right then back again and pulling it out. Previously I would turn halfway to the left and that was it’s normal unlocked state. Can get by like this but obviously not ideal and it doesn’t feel particularly good. Anyone else had this problem and what did you do to fix? Thanks

    Key fob alarm system

Hi all, I have a polo 1.4 TDI from 2005 which uses a 'remote key shell fob' - (see key fob image). I am wanting to buy another fob, I am wondering how you would go about setting it up to configure with my car's alarm system? Better still, is it possible to change from the key fob to a normal key like newer cars use? Cheers.

    VW Polo 6n?

So i recently got a VW polo 6n 1.2 3 cylinder. It come with 2 keys and both have a button in the middle of them, but they don't do anything? Anyone know what they are for? As I've tried using them for the central locking but nothing works. I also changed the batterys in them both and still nothing?
  4. Hi, I bought a 06 polo about a month ago and it only came with one key which was not a flip key and didn't have buttons open and close the car I have to manually open the car with the key. which was just a inconvenience of it looked around and found a way to just programme the key fob. so I went ahead and bought a unprogrammed and uncut flip key from rclick.co.UK in hope that I could use only the remote part of the key (here is a link to the key is bought : http://www.rclick.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=56&products_id=1086 ). I have tried a lot of things to programme the remote to the car but nothing seems to work. any help i can get would be much appreciated . P.S I am sorry if this question has been already answered ....if it has been answered could u direct me to the thread
  5. Hi, Not sure if anyone has any experience with programming the keys for the 2012 polo's. Basically my only key has lost its remote programming due to battery going flat. I've tried vag-com to program the key but in the test value I get test value of 0 returned when ive run the 0 channel reset. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jordan.
  6. Hi everyone I just found a remote locking key for my mk6 2004 polo. I've replaced the battery and tried some rubbish instructions about putting the key in the drivers door and pressing the button but it didn't work. I don't know if it's the transponder that's broken. Does anyone have any advice?
  7. Hi. This is an interesting one. So i get in to start my car, turn the key, turns over and starts, but as soon it start's it cuts out. all the lights start to flicker. But when I press the key with some force inwards as far i can and turn it, it starts normally. Any idea what would be the problem? Does any one had this problem before?
  8. Hi there I am just wondering if anyone knows how to programme a Polo 6n 1999 transponder key i know that the transponder inside is a T10 transponder is there any way of programming it without having to spend a lump sum of cash cause first quote i had was just after getting the flip key cut and the car wouldn't start which was £90 for the transponder and i'm guessing programming but I have found the transponder on ebay for £6.50 so I'm thinking to get that and get a place to programme is which I've been quoted £30 to do it, but I've checked online for a way without having to use a specialist but not sure if it works the same way with the T10 transponder. Thanks for any help
