Cameron Wilkins posted a topic in Mk6 PoloBought this car a few weeks ago, it’s my second MK6 polo.. it’s not too bad tbh ???
Hi everyone, Need some help urgently! I've recently changed my steely's to alloys, they're 16 inch so not too big for the car, the ride height is normal as I haven't lowered it yet and the tyres are standard. But, on the front passengers side, the tyre is making a rubbing sound, the car is clunky to accelerate and when i'm going 10/20mph when stuck in traffic there is a horrendously loud rubbing noise. When I turn right I can hear a knocking noise and when I brake there is a little squeal. I have taken the wheel off to check the brakes, the wheels are not rubbing on the arch or anything along those lines. My dad has 10+ years on VW and owns a few himself and he's even confused as to what it could be as he's had a thorough check and has suggested getting low profiles, but surely that would affect all 4 wheels not just the one? Any help would be appreciated! Cheers
Hi all I've been asked to find a Mk 6/7 Polo (2002-2009) for a Volkswagen UK event next January – also see my post in the Mk 7 page. The car required has to be a mainstream model (ie E, S, Sport, 16V possibly) and has to be unmodified if at all possible. It also has to be available for three days at the start of January. If you've got such a car, post a photo or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll take a look and get in touch if I think the car is suitable. Cheers! Rich PoloDriver.com
Bought this wee piece last November. She's had a hard life up until now and I've spent a fair wad bringing her up to standard again. http://s192.photobucket.com/user/lmillar203/media/1EBE2593-3E67-4F5A-9FB4-92A54D22867B_zpsrgmsrjuw.jpg.html[/IMG] Paid £420 for this wee tank :)
