  1. Hi folks, iv just joined the forum today and have recently placed an order for a 1.2 Tsi R line Polo from a dealership nearby. I'm looking to do some straight forward mods that give the car a little more oomph ! On my mind i have, a remap, air filter/intake mod and exhaust mod, just wondering if anyone has any experience deleting the resonator from the standard exhaust do you have any tips ? Or videos ? ... I'm worried it might be a waste of time or Drone while driving ? The intake and remap mods will come later. Weary of manufactures warranty Cheers
  2. Hello, I've bought a 9n3 2009 1.2 recently its fully stock and i want to get into moding it, to start off i want to lower the car since it looks like a rabbit right now. should i go ahead with lowered springs or buy a set of coilovers. i looked at the JOM's and the eibach springs dont really know what to go for and what would be better. Also if i do get the springs i dont want to go too low to still keep it practical. Any opinions or advice would help since im new to all of this, just passed my driving recently, thanks. cheers.

    Modifications for 6N2?

Hi all, Just wondering what other mods there are that I could do to my 6N2? Its had some mods done to it already, such as upgraded shocks to Bilstein B6's, and springs to Eibach Sportline's. Other mods include: GTI Grills, Splitter & Fog Lights Universal Back Box Genuine GTI BBS RX2 Alloys What other mods are there that I could do to my car? I need to be price conscious too, but I was looking at rear window tints and a sportex centre pipe & back box system. If anyone could give me some ideas I would greatly appreciate it. Cheers

    Blue Polo 1.2

17 years old and this is my first car. Will be a lot of trial and error on this car but will try my best. Will upload a better picture of the car later but its in fairly good condition, not great but not terrible. The car is as box standard as you can get hasn't even got central locking but this will all be part of the project. I will be going down or at least trying to be going down the euro route, always open for comments and opinions if its constructive if you don't like it then just don't bother. Only "mod" I've got right now is a active sub, its the twin 12" 1800W edge sub. Did actually install it in my corsa but this car popped up at a brilliant price and couldn't pass it up. Will probably be asking for advice a lot but ohwell, all mods will be installed by myself. Might be fairly large gaps between Jobs as being 17 and working a part time job and full time apprenticeship so not a lot of money or time but yeah...

  7. Hello fellow VW owners, I have recently purchased a lower grill set for my polo 9n3 but I'm having difficulties with installation. i can't seem to get the original fittings out. My polo came with fog lights and I don't want to damage them whilst I remove the original grills. Can anyone help me with this matter please. thanks, MTMax
