Hi all, I have noticed an issue with the rear wiper on my 1998 6N Polo. It works fine when wash/wiping, however, when set to intermittent wipe it will stick after completing 1/4 of the return wipe. It will then return to the 'parked' position when the next wipe interval is reached. So it is essentially completing 5/8 of wipe on the first pass, then completing the remaining 3/8 of the wipe on the second pass. Has anyone experienced this before, or know of any potential causes? I'm thinking contaminated motor grease, or worn intermittent relay? There are no other issues with the wipe
Hi All, This is a long shot, but does anyone have any information about the wiring for the rear wiper motor on a 9N3? (it's a 55 plate if that matters) Mine hasn't worked for years and I finally got around to looking at it yesterday. Long story short, there is a small circuit board on the wiper motor that's dead. I've driven the motor on a bench from a supply and know it works fine, and I've seen with a voltmeter that the car is sending a signal to activate the wiper, and power. I guess I've got three options, Replace the whole thing. Bit loathed to do t
