First of all, hello! I'm new to this forum, but have been using it a lot to find things out. Very usefull site. I have recently bought a 51 plate 6n2 gti, 1.6 16v, I love the car, been slowly getting it up to scratch as it was a bit knackered when I got it, nice amazing condition leather interior, loves it! Now my problem is that the car has wide rims and stretched tyres, which I don't want (the rims are rota grid drifts I think. They look wicked, sad to see them go but I want standard size alloys and tyres). I'm no good with wheel/tyre sizes so I was hoping someone could recommend me something good? Or tell me the exact specs I need so I can order a set. I want 14/15's, not a fan of low profile tyres. I tried looking online for this info but was struggling.. and couldnt really find a thread on it. Any help much aprecciated. B Edit: photos http://postimg.org/gallery/1t6ybuqm8/ -
6n2 hose/breather replacements (1.4, 8 valve)

Hey guys has anyone done a complete hose replacement on a 1.4 8 valve 6n2? I need the list of hose sizes for the breathers etc. My main reason for doing this is that my breathers keep splitting and rather than replacing them with old pipes, I want to replace them with new ones preferably silicon ones. -
Very much of a newby with posting topics on here, been on here a while but always kept quite. I've just bought myself a polo 9n3 gti and unsure on what size wheels to go for? I understand there's a lot to take into consideration and its like asking how long is a piece of string! But what wheels & (sizes/offsets) have people had on there's that fit pretty well?! Wheels wise I'm after some BBS CH, not sure what sizes these are available in but seen a couple of 9n & 9n3's with them on?! Help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Cia.

Hi, i have just bought a 1994 Mk2F Polo hatchback. i'm looking to lower it and put some banded steelies on it. buuut i don't know size combo's.. for example, how much to lower it for what size wheels and then for the wheels what size tyres.. as i don't know how tyre sizes work. i'm not dumb or anything i just haven't been 'educated' on it yet and i feel this is the best place to ask. so if anybody has any links to help me out or any knowledge, please share! thanks!

Hi! First post so go easy on me! I debadged the rear VW badge in the hope to fit a gloss black one, however, the one i bought was a lot smaller! Can anyone measure their rear badge and advise me as to which badges will fit ie Golf mk5, Touran etc Thanks!

Hi I am looking into getting a new set of Alloys for my polo 6n2 and I have found a set on eBay and was wondering if anyone knows if they will fit? Here is the sizing: They are 16 inch wheels with multi stud fitment. (4x100 and 4x108) These are common stud patterns for many VAG cars and 4x108 I believe is a common ford fitment. They are 7J wide with a 38 offset. I will also be selling the alloys with tyres. All four are nearly new Kenda Radials, size 205/50/R16 with 6 - 6.5mm of tread! Thanks, Jordan :)
