  1. So basically my sunroof is not working, I replaced motor, switch and did a check on wiring to see if current was going thru, the only wire that it didn’t have power to was the red one. now Also my passenger window don’t work , I read online someone saying they are linked that if the passenger side window don’t work the sunroof won’t too... I’ve stripped the dashboard and followed the wire down to the clips at the bottom, I also checked the wire for the look (the red one) and that isn’t showing power, (not sure if it is supposed to) I am so damn confused and need se
  2. When i bought my Polo the sunroof was sealed shut with some horrendously ugly (but ultimately effective) black silicone sealant. It wasn't a deal-breaker so I decided if its not leaking then I can just live with it. However as I've been tidying up the rest of the bodywork this monstrosity on the roof is starting to look increasingly crappy by comparison and has started to stick out like a sore thumb! The paint needs redoing on the roof and the colour of the steel sunroof is decidedly off compared to the rest of the car - wouldn't mind sorting that. Not to mention the fact that the

    6n2 se sunroof

Hello again all So today i accidently pushed some velcro onto my sunroof cover and im guessing pushed it up off the runners. How do i sort this out as its rattling and i cant use sunroof (least i got a few months before summer ha!) Cheers
  4. Hi everyone, got a sunroof problem where it will not close fully. It winds open and closed without any difficulty or stiffness in the winder, but one corner does not "pop-up" and seal properly - the other does though. It is a factory fitted sunroof that slides back under the roof skin. I have tried - Removing the wind deflector - no difference. Swapping over the small metal strip on each side that is angled-up (if you have one you'll know which part I mean) - again, no difference. If I push up from inside it will go where it needs to be but keeps dropping down. Any ide
  5. I thought I’d post this here as I find this while digging around for information on how to sort my leaky sunroof... Done a bit of digging and found a company called Bristol Sunroofs do a seal for a “Britax Sunhatch” which I’m pretty sure is what mine is. Might be of some use to anyone with the same sunroof. It’s listed at £35 plus post! Presume you’d have to get in contact with them, I may do that if it is in fact what mine is and the cheaper options of cleaning it out etc are no good! www.bristolsunroofs.co.uk/sunroofspares.php It seems a few people
  6. I'm concerned about the rust on my sunroof drains iv been meaning to sort it out but everything seems to be braking mechanically at the moment, wondering if anyone has had the same problem and some advice on how to clean it up and seal it, it's not gone through after tapping it with a screw driver so I'm guessing it just surface rust. The black stuff around it is kurust to stop it from getting worse.
