Does anyone have the part#, or a place where I can buy, a throttle position sensor for a Polo GT? Would also really appreciate a place that has a proper diagram of all the parts of these cars.. sometimes you can find that sort of thing online but I'm not having a lot of luck.
Hello, I'm new on this forum, thanks in advance for your time. I've bought recently my first car, a Polo 6N2, 140k km on the clock, the car was kinda fine, just changed few things like spark plugs, oil, oil filter, air filter etc... A month ago my EPC light and CEL light showed up, and got no throttle response, so I turned off the engine, waited some minutes and car was driving fine again. Recently this EPC light is showing more often, and when I try to accelerate, the RPM drop from 1000 to 400/500, and when I let off the gas pedal they turn back to around 1000, so I got VAG Com and I've
Hi all, got my cbr600 carbs running pretty well on my 6n. Sounds mint and has a fair bit of go despite not having had them tuned properly yet. just wondering whether anyone has managed to adjust their throttle pedal travel with carbs? Currently it’s only got about a quarter of its normal travel until I’m at full throttle which makes Rev matching and modulating the throttle pretty tricky. Thinking of making some kind of adjustable pivot point to bolt onto the carbs, to go between the stock cable and the cable that’s attached to the butterflies. Are ther
Hello, I'm new to the forum so sorry in advance if this question has been asked too many times. My 1984 mk2 breadvan has quite severe engine hesitation under acceleration. There is a 'dead zone' when you push the throttle halfway, then if you start flooring it the engine picks up revs again. I already saw there is a list of things in an engine that can cause this, but before trying everything i thought about narrowing down the options. Do any of you know whether there is a very likely cause for a mk2 breadvan to have such hesitation? BTW: the spark plugs and leads are already checked
So I've got a 1.4 tdi 2001 polo, and there seems to be allot if slack in my accelorator pedal, it's sat way to low but it's got a short cable that isn't adjustable that runs to an electric box, which is the electric throttle, had it all off but no idea how to adjust it to make the pedal sit in the right place, any ideas?
