  1. Hello, I’m after a bit of advice reference fitting 14” P Slots on my breadvan that I have just bought. The tyres that are currently on the wheels are 185/60/14 and am having a few issues with rubbing at the back as expected. I will be lowering the car approx 40mm all round and ideally would like to keep the P Slots on the car so my question is, would a 165/55/14 tyre work without any rubbing on the rear? The P Slots I have are 5.5J et38. Any advice would be much appreciated otherwise it’ll back to the 4.5J 13’s that came with it! Many thanks

    Mk2 Coupe Wheel Ideas

Hi, Looking for wheel ideas for my mk2 parade. Currently on 13" hockenheims with 20mm rear spacers but think i want to fill the arches out a little more? And if anyone's got any 13s or 14s for sale near Milton Keynes/Bucks let me know! Any ideas/thoughts welcome
  3. As it states, I am thinking about sticking Rota Grids on my 6n2, and I want this same wheel fitment/ placement or at least similar. im currently on 15x7s (I think, possible that rear are wider, not 100% sure) however I am not sure about the ET. so what I want to know is if anyone has put rota grids 7js on a 6n2, how different they will line up compared to my current rims. or is it worth looking into doing 7s on front and 8s on rear? I Looked into 8js, they sit nice but apparently effects the ride, I currently enjoy the ride on 7js despite the height and would like to continue to as this is my daily. Any input or suggestion appreciated. Cheers.
  4. Planning to change my wheels on my mk2f coupe, car is too low to get under the sill jacking points, are there any alternative points on the car I can safely jack from?
  5. Hi CP, Have just done a test fit with the above wheels and the fronts appear to be too wide, atleast in legal terms. The edge of the rim protudes about 3/4 inch out and I don’t want to chance bring pulled over, etc. Would fitting a tire tire and covering the tread be deemed ok? Was looking at 185/60 however I feel this will offer too much of a square shoulder and result in obvious poke. Are 175/50’s too narrow for modern tire regs?
  6. Hello pleb here. I have finally got round to buying some wheels for my '93 breadvan, they are 13"x6J BBS offset is 33. wondering what the best bet for tires is and not having problems with scrubbing, car is not lowered at all. cheers for any help, again sorry for being dumb.

    Wonky wheels

I was looking into where my front wheels were rubbing after putting some larger wheels on that friend lent me to try. Turns out it was rubbing on the drivers side arch because that wheel sits about an inch further back than the passenger side wheel. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should investigate first, it's not the wheels themselves. Could worn bushes cause this? My initial thought was that the wishbone could be bent but it's never had a bump or anything.

    Wheel balancing

I have bought some steel wheels from a bmw e30, they fit well but was wondering if they need to be balanced. They already have weights on and not too sure if that counts.
