Stage 2 Subframe - IN STOCK

Recommended Posts

Yoof

After listening to what customer wanted, we developed a new subframe design. Aimed at those without huge budgets, but still interested in improving thier existing suspension set-up.

We are please to announce our 'stage 2' kit, consisting of a 28mm CDS frame, using all existing OEM mounting points and retaining the standard ARB. Increasing chassis strength dramatically and tightening the ARB and ensuring it is no longer pre-loaded before conering forces act upon it.

The kit consists of:

* 28mm CDS Subframe

* Uprated Rear Gearbox Mount

* The necessary bolts & fittings for the above

All are supplied in a gloss black finish- to suit G-Ladersite ARB blocks.

Please e-mail: enquiries@poloperformanceparts.co.uk if you would like to order.

Many Thanks,

Peter

other than the rose joints, are there any big differences between this and the stage 3? i'm guessing the only thing not eliminated by the stage 2 kit is the flex in the ARB?

last question, does the stage 2 kit eliminate wheel tramping? it's a nightmare trying to pull away in my loon at the minute, standard front end really doesn't like 120bhp :lol:

If you're getting bad wheel tramp with 120bhp I'd question the quality of your suspension and the life in your bushes.

The Stage 2 is designed for lighter use, where people still want to keep the ARB, with the added benefit of chassis strength, and ridgidity. Stage 2 is made of lighter gauge material than the stage 3, as the stresses are not concentrated through it in the same areas.

Stage 3 is a natural progression, I've run 8" wide drag slicks on a prepped Santa Pod track with no tramping at all.

I personally would run a stage 2 on a road car, and for fast road/track I'd go Stage 3.

Hope this helps,

Pete

should have taken some pics of the old bushes when i took them out really, was an amusing sight :lol:

all been replaced now, as has the suspension but it still feels a bit 'loose' when you pull away hard, wont be sticking with 120 brake for long either so sub frame is a must

you guys still doing the stage 3?
