On friday i went to the post office to egt my tax sorted, i did so and they ask for all the forms e.g mot insurance and vehicle registration doc (thing that says i own it) and then i gets home puts the tax disc in and no problems, and look to put mot and all that stuff away and cant find it........assuming I've lost it how hard wil it be to acquire new ones?

All you have to do is go to the garage you had your last MOT with and pay for a duplicate.

They most likely won't ask for proof that its your car, but take along your drivers license &/or receipt if possible.

If it's a big place or an official dealer / vw place it can cost between £20-45 i needed a duplicate and i got mine for £5 but it's a nice little garage non specialist.

As for the rest of it you just need to talk to the DVLA.. prob cost you a few quid for delivery e.t.c
