Spraying a bumper?

Just brought a 16v rear bumper, its currently in blue but want to get it to white, want to do it myself but just wondering what products to buy, primer, sand paper ect. maybe someone has a link?

id sand it wet with 600 paper and warm soapy water , sand until its all dull and any scratches are feathered

mist any bare plastic patches with plastic primer , then 3 coats of high build over the whole bumper

let that dry for 48 hrs in the warm

mist some matt black on ...then sand with 800 wet , the misted on black will act as a guide coat and you will see where youve missed bits , sand until its dead smooth all over

wipe down with a tack cloth and on with the white paint

so should I sand all the blue off?

No just until there's a scuffed surface for the new paint to bond to.

yeah just sand until the surface has gone all matt , you dont want to see any shine /gloss at all from the old paint

make sure you get in all the corners and edges ..as this is what stops it peeling off later
