Beruit

After a good clean, it's first visitor found its new home

A few more popped up

An engine came out

326277_10150581102736343_305921692_o.jpg

And a few more cars came in!

The Golf got a few more ponies

The Peril got scared and wet herself. You can see Rich's handywork at smashing walls through, to find extra storage space (for more cars obviously!)

The scrap pile grew

This is what happens when to stop for too long in Salford

Some old cars, some new cars, a CSI murder investigation tent in the background

The comet blue started getting some love again

My pile of junk, stuff worth something to someone, but not to me anymore!

164462_10151418933751343_1037538336_n.jp

Contemplated a front end swap

205751_10151418938201343_1771315797_n.jp

Spot the difference

69205_10151496135346343_1431722523_n.jpg

I got a new welder, this made me very happy

533217_10151496138141343_668507005_n.jpg

and bought a BMW!!! First non-vw car in 26 cars.

602148_10151512789146343_191014379_n.jpg

And naturally it wasn't long before that was in there!

Went to town with a load of new toys

72476_10151533495491343_1397361186_n.jpg

Got bored with the turbo and decided I needed toothies and a G-lader back in my life

Teg was spotted working on a car

Proof that some of them come out!

548994_10151623035866343_1450093008_n.jp

Leaving day came - the peril still had no axle mounts, or axle, a massive hole and I had no welding gas. good times

1503475_10152125324971343_1246626493_n.j

The scrapper barge and the lupolo ready to go

1545101_10152125323176343_540029276_n.jp

Marching orders

1557601_10152125322231343_1049875404_n.j

The hoard I had amassed!

1533810_10152125326531343_505525888_n.jp

1526519_10152125326976343_606386541_n.jp

1604365_10152125327686343_698775013_n.jp

I managed to get the peril back on the road, epic mission involving a borrowed welder with argon, transporting the lupolo to its new home, dropping the axle, welding the peril, refitting the axle and suspension but it made it

1551532_10152125333566343_1016878533_n.j

The barge loaded with the scrap and was ready for the HIAB to take it to motor heaven

1530554_10152129426721343_1610866943_n.j

The new 'cosy' home

1535613_10152153745856343_764834032_n.jp

The less cosy but still better than Kingpin Mill

Aye, still got all my welding gear, although I'm not sure I would be that confident doing big work on anyone else's car.

Your up Bolton way? Message a guy called Matthew Sandiford on my FB and he'll send in the right location
