Who Is Mark-holland

Featured Replies

hello my name is mark and i'm from holland..

I've been driving polo's for a couple of years now!

This is the list of my polo's that i have owned

polo mk2 1.3 multipoint injection............ it crashed on a Renault 5 :o

Second polo i owned was a polo 2f 1.3 monopoint injection

Then i bought a polo that was a bit faster: G40

I bought it like this:

And it left me like this:

Then for daily driving i bought an golf mk 1 diesel.. That's very cheap driving in holland, because we pay no roadtax when a car is older than 25 years :D And this car drives on 1 liter diesel 22 kilometers :D

Welcome to clubpolo Mark.

Nice little collection of polos you've had there.

The mk1 looks so clean! Your G40 looked good too

thanks!!

i forgot to say, the mk1 is going to be lowerd with 60/40 kit from FK, and i have allycat wheels 5,5j in the front and 7j on the back..

And 2 spare wheels 1 5,5j and a 7j :D

The allycats are now been cleaned up by a proffesional.. But they are almost done and going to look like this

Welcome,Mark! 8-)

Shame about the MK2,was lovely. Those cut teardrops on the G40 are stunning wheels,i just dont know why they're not more popular.

And i envy you for that early MK1! What are your plans for it?

  • Author

plans for now are building it up with the old engine and lowering it with a 60/40 kit and the allycat wheels..

When the car is ready then first i am going to move on my own so my money will not be spend on the car..

But, i also want to build up an 1.3 engine in the future with some more horse power and all fresh painted parts on it.. But that's something that will take a few years before that is going to happen..

The car will stay in a bit original when we speak about looks.. It has to be that when a put my original spring kit + my steel wheels on it that it will look like a totally original mk1

I was a bit late with that reply,it will be beautiful soon.

Inspirational work,Mark.

welcome to clubpolo Mark! Wow....you've had some stunners! Thats mk2 looks brilliant and the G40 is so clean....really nice!! great progress so far with the mk1....good choice in wheels....looking forward to seeing it finished!

Your old Mk2 was simple but gorgeous, if the Mk1 turns out as well as that it will be very nice.

workmanship involved in the bodywork looks excellent too.

Thnx!

Hi Mark

I'm loving that colour. I used to have a T2 bay window camper in that colour, it's very similar to the wesfalia green. The interiour seats and door panels look great too.

Mark

Look at all of these gorgeous cars.

Is Holland a goldmine for old Volkswagens or something?

  • Author

Holland is the zilvermine and deutschland (germany) is the goldmine..

But there are many nice volkswagens in holland that's for sure!!

With a bit of luck, the car comes back from the bodyshop between x-mass and newyear... When that is not it will come back in the beginning of januari
