Have you cheked the gearbox oil ??

i would say check the gearbox oil mate

sounds as if one of the bearings is abit dry in the gearbox...or on its way out

can you replicate it out of gear? like timing belt tensioner or something

Stupid question but where about exactly on the gearbox to I check the oil level and where do I fill it up? It's definately not my belts and stuff, I checked them and they are all fine

sounds like it cood be your thrust bearing mouse

Would that relate to the gearbox and/or clutch Ross

I'm gonna get my gearbox oil changed when my MOT is due in March, though if I can do it myself then I'd rather - also if the box was on it's way out there would be little point. I'm just hoping it holds out as I have a 60 mile 2 hour daily commute until the end of next week :(
