As the title says...I'm selling my tdi polo. i brought it after selling my mk1, i always fancied a silver 6n2 on black d90s so i done it, and to be honest newer cars just don't do it for me so i have decided to go air cooled and as the polo rarely gets used (i commute to london week days on the train) it has to go to fund my aircooled project!!

where to start.......

. its a 2001 5 door 1.4 tdi se in reflex silver

. being a 2001 model means £30 a year tax!!

. re mapped to 100 bhp and a little under 200 totque so pulls lovely.

. amazing on fuel.....previous owner said he managed 76mpg since the re map, i have not tested it but i would say its around that sort of figure.

. hid 8000k headlight conversion

. electric sun roof,windows and mirrors, remote central locking

. Viper full closure alarm system with 2 key fobs

. kenwood cd player with aux

. mint custom trimmed black leather interior with white stitching

. gti splitter and all honeycomb grills

. lowered on hot tuning coilovers

. satin black d90s with metal caps 6s and 8s with locking wheel nuts

. excellent tyres, 165 40s and 195 40s giving lovely stretch, full set only a few months old and covered 500 to 600 miles

. 2 month old fk adapters 30mm front and 20mm rear

. new battery in feb

mot and tax til sep, never failed an mot and I'm confident it wont fail the next.

i have just had it serviced by vw today and i have so much paper work, reciepts etc you can see this car has been very well looked after with no money spared.

i am the 3rd owner but the 1st and 2nd owners were father and son and i have the reciepts and paper work from when they brought it new.

the mileage is high at 156k but being a vw tdi its just about broken inn, it had a cambelt and water pump at 150k.

this a very economical car and is a treat to drive, perfect cruising round town but also really good on the motorway and its so cheap to run its unreal.

bad bids.....

. the starter motor is abit sticky so sum times squeels when you start it but if i get time il lube it up this weekend. starts on the dot every time tho.

. theres a small dent on the passenger wing at the top, about an inch in size not too noticable but i was planning to get new wing on ebay

. it has a few small scratches but nothing noticable when u step back tho, I'm just picky and notice them when i polish it.
