brought the car as standard, 1.4 8v with 16v bumpers 100k on the clock, Lupo bathursts and been sat for a year. bit of a spec - PAS electric windows, Central locking ect  so thought it would be a good project to put my own touches to. the day i picked it up (Y)

had the week off work so gave it a proper clean inside and out. removed seats and hoovered inside properly and fitted sub and stereo from the old motor. heres after a good clean

few spots of rust on both sills, rear arches, boot and a few scratches and dents here and there so booked it in for a repray and have a few bits smoothed

Got myself a mint boot from the scrapyard and wanted rid of the VW badge and Polo badge so got that done at the same time

here it is after the paint job with the bonnet bra on and slammed on ta technix

then the modding went quite for a while. 

drove it as it was for a month or so and then found some bbs ra's and got them painted black and gave it a proper clean!

replaced the badgless gril with the standard grill with the badge painted black

then got busy with the interior, retrimming roof lining, abc pillars, door handles, mirror covers, speaker grills and rear parcel shelf

kept it for about a week and went off the ornage fur a bit so all thats stayed is the parcelshelf and the orange stereo surround

then i got these through the post 

HID KIT DIDNT GET FITTED AS IT WAS FAULTY

and as the porsche silverstone snow plough :)

now got a few days off work so got cracking with a free mod i thought would be a cool touch. 

re-wiring side lights into indicator lenses :) and aero wipers

BTW indicators still work 

and the result ...

and i test fitted a vr6 splitter to check ground clearence before i trim and bend ect to fit (Y)

likin the lowness it will give  :p 

and just 1 with my mates 6n

Lol only really done it for banter on a saterday. As isaid most has gone bar the parcelshelf. Car cost me 700 with 4 new tyres 12 months tax and years Mot. So didn't think it was too bad :)

I haven't got Any pictures but all I did was drill a 12mm hole in the indicator( I was using corsa b sidelights units off my old car) snipped the 2 sidelight wires and done a 3 way join basically so the positive wires were all connected and same for the earth. Still need to smarten the wirin up a bit. Solder the wirin properly as it as getin cold yesterday And couldn't feel my feet lol. Let me know if h need any help mate. Takes about an hour for both mate.

I'm feeling the Lupo wheels more. Looking good though man.

How is that cheating lows :s I'm not the only person to want to try and vr splitter am I!

If it's that horrendous give me some positive advise on a splitter?

haven't got round to fitting it yet mate, when I pull me finger out I'll update this with how hard it was to do and what i had to do to get it to fit
