I want to put a jap dildo shifter in my 9n polo, buut the existing gear stick is a clip one and the dildo shifter is a screw on one. i was wondering if there was some kind of adapter that would make this easier than welding on a bolt for it to screw to (as I've done this before, but it snapped off!)

I'd say a bit of glue, but you dont want to be getting in to any sticky situations.

KY may help lol, on another note, i have a moto X handle bar grip for my gear knob, i got a piece of tube to sleave over the shifter and welded a not to the top end of it so it would sleave over then screw on making it stronger, i then keyed up the inside of the grip and the tube and used 2k glue to stick them together, it just screws on and off now

Could you not just ram it on then screw it with as much force as you can muster? Like screw it real hard? Get the rod as deep as possible
