6n2 TDI Colour concept

Featured Replies

Make: VW

Model: Polo TDI Colour concept

Year/Reg: 2001 Y Reg

Mileage: Almost 80,000

MOT: 12 months

Tax: Will Put one full year on. Only £30 anyway :-) .

Good points: I have only owned the car since January and its been nothing but good to me since :-) .

With it being the TDI model it is capable of almost 70MPG.

Before I Put it in for an m.o.t less than a week ago (19/4/12) I replaced a shock and the front disks and pads and it passed with no advisories, as it did with the previous owner too!

Since owning it I have replaced the timing belt and water pump in the garage I was working in and gave it a full service including a forte engine flush,

fuel system cleaner and a coolant flush.

A month later I drained and replaced all of the brake fluid.

Stupidly of myself I haven't kept any of the receipts, but all other history with that car, I believe I'm the third owner.

Only reason for sale is that I dont have to worry about fuel for work so much anymore so I've bought another MK3.

The car runs exactly as it should and the turbo still pulls strong, no smoke and it hasnt been driven like an idiot in my possesion.

Just last month it took me, my girlfreind and her younger brother to cornwall for a spot of surfing and back up in the same week

with no problems whatsoever.

With it being a Colour Conept it comes with all the usual goodies :-) .

Black leather Recaro heated leather seats, leather gear gaitor and leather steering wheel.

BBS colour concept Alloy wheels

It has electric windows, mirrors and sunroof (which I will miss a lot!)

It also has a factory fitted imboiliser

I paid for an H.P.I check before I got the car and it is clear,

Feel free to check again :-) .

Bad points: The front drivers side wing has some rot on it an could ideally do with being replaced.

Passenger side wing has a paint chip roughly the size if a 5 pence that could be painted.

And it has a small bit of paint that has flaked on the frint bump strip but this is barely noticable.

I bought the car with these problems but haven't got round to sorting them myself unfortunatley

Although I dont think it should be expensive to have these sorted.

I had front wings alone priced at a local scrappy and I could get the two for £24

Oh! And the fact I dont have history for my time with the car.

But other than that she's a goodn' and has done me proud :-) .

Location:

The car Is located in Dumbarton which is about 20 minutes from Glasgow city centre.
