gti 6n2 steering wheel onto a 6n?

i have a 6n and was wondering if the 6n2 steering wheel would fit straight on with no problems??

also my 6n has no airbag and all of the 6n2 steering wheels have them so what do i do about that??

I think the wheel does go straight on because I sold my old one to a lad with a 6N and he whacked it straight on.

The airbag issue won't make a difference. It'll just be there but not do anything.
