finally finished my gt conversion today, only took me a week doing it all on my own even lifting the engine into the bay on my own, hope you like guys, opinions welcome

full spec:

ABD 1.4 bottom end

GT head and injection system

CAM

ECU chipped

Fully stainless steel system

Fully ported and polished head

GT gearbox

pipercross induction kit

think thats everything at the minute but got big plans for it lol need more speed

You must have spent some time cleaning that head

lol shame i cant keep my room that tidy my mum would love me

proper sound shell deserved a good engine. should be nice

is it a proper cage or a showcage?

that head is nuts! i picked up my ABD lump this morning, engines are surprisingly heavy when lifted out the boot on your own.

I'm confused with the cover? It looks like a steel one, if it is it will rust but fair play it looks great...

what is the ABD lump from ? (what vehicle)

do u hav to scim the head and block ! plus are the engine mounts the same

the rocker cover is steel, its got slight surface rust but gona sort that out over the weekend, the head and inlet manifold have been mirror polished lol took a bit of time but got there in the end lol pain in the arse to keep clean though

paid £50 quid for the cage, which was originally specially made for my doner car

the ABD block is from early mk3 golf, took it out today after sorting a few little problems, ahd to come home because i cant get any traction with bran new tyres lol
