hey yall just a feeler at the moment

looking to put my 1997 polo 6n 16v up for sale...

it was originally a 1.4 8v CL but i have myself (Mazda Technician) carried out the 16v conversion

absolutely everything from the donor 16v has gone into my car, donor car was a '98 polo so it now has the newer style backlit smt clocks.

all the engine conversion was out of R1CH's car when he broke it so I'm sure hed vouch for the engine. lol

engine has done 72k, and had new clutch when did conversion. now has 11 months MOT 5 months tax.

has had new clutch cable and throttle cable on 19.5.2010

anyhooo... good bits

all red interior bits from ibiza GTi

LED's in clocks changed to blue with red mileage and clock display

Black and Red colour concept recaro heated leather seats (wear on driver bolster, all the loom mk3 golf switch for seat heaters with car but not connected)

red leather colour concept handbrake out of the same mk3 golf (abit mucky and scratched)

mk3 golf centre console (goes around handbrake and to near back seats)

6n2 gear knob with red gaiter

MOMO Team 280mm steering wheel

lowered on coilovers unsure of the make

15x7" ATS cups with kawasaki green rim tapes (no kerbing on rims but little bits of laquer worm on dishes)

polished rocker cover

smoothed front 16v bumper

tinted headlights

probly more I've missed, ill add stuff when i remember lol

bad bits...

the rear arches are starting to show rust as are the sills in the usual spots

dent on offside rear quarter panel

bonnet is matt green coz the laquer started to peel due to the bonnet bra so jet washed the remaining laquer off (car comes with the bonnet bra lol)

car will come with a shitload of spare parts from the conversion if wanted like normal steering wheel and old pre '98 black dash.

how many miles has the shell done?

is it a 1.4 cl on the log book?

and would you sell with out all the bits and the interior?

the shell has done 80k

yes its still a 1.4 8v CL on the logbook

errm i suppose but i dont have another interior to put in it...

bloody hell mate,,thats a good price for the car as it always looked its best and is a smart example!!

I can definitley vouch for the engine,,i only covered 20k or so in the 5 years i had it and had all belts,tensioner,pump,new throttle body, and was always regularly serviced as I'm sure Steve has too. The box was always solid too and had an oil change just before steve took it.

Actually id quite like to buy it back now lol.
