theres oil drippin down from around the dip stick on my mk3 1 litre i recently changed the oil/filter/head gasket/thermostat manifold gaskets etc etc

Any ideas why it will be pissin out?

i wood say one of you oil breather pipes is blocked.

^^ Ditto - excess crankcase pressure pushing oil up the dipstick tube,due to a blockage somewhere in the breather plumbing.

any idea where the breather is and how many is there etc

the breather bolts to the back of the engine (under the starter) start there and take the pipes off and make shore thay are clean and not blocked

cool will have to get the car back in the garage and get under it
