ok basically I'm always jubious about taking power tools near my 6n, can i damage paintwork with one? as i can from time to time be clumsy!

also how much should i be paying for one???

A caramel wheel should not damage your paint unless you excessive force. iv used them loads of times and no problem. if you scared about using power tool's try some 'gun wash' you can get it from most car paint shop's its basicly weak thinners and as long as you rub hard of leave it on for ages it also should not damage your paint. hth mate

I'm from the northampton area so ent got a clue but the main one's here are brown brother's,mkpe or try fleabay. dont know if there is a branch over near you.

Any paint workshop could get you one

The only way you could do damage, because i did, is if you leave it running in one place for too long. It heats up, and melts the paint, and wears it off faster. But so long as you keep it moving, you should be fine

Ant, did your fudge wheel leave a yellowish residue on the paint? Becuase mine has. I'm guessing a polish will sort it?

no its left like a rubberery kind of stuff but it came right of. if you getting paint stain you are leaving it on to long.just take your time and be patiant the end result will be good

Bit late, its done now!

Its a white car, so any stain shows up. Its not too bad, t-cut should get it out, just haven't had the weather

i dont know what your trying to get of but maybe a bit of nail varnish remover will do the trick like thinners but weaker
