Got my Polo back in June and haven't been able to do a lot recently but I've done some bits and pieces since I got it.

June 2011

Today 10/9/2011

New CD player in and out with the tape player!

Took the massive aerial off and put a small one on

Carbon inserts

New Deflectors on!

Took the orange bulbs out and but Chrome ones in and got new indicators coming!

Took the badges off the back and waxed it down

Got a GTI Grill and sprayed the front badge black!

New Number Plates!

Yeah mate, forgot about the number plates ha. Wind Deflectors were a definet yes for me just love the look of them tbh.

Don't really know a lot about slamming it etc but do you think I could put like 40mm coileys on them and it would still go down by drive?

Started to remove the front bumper to take the old headlights out and put the new ones in

Old splitter and old headlights out!

Horrible old headlights

New headlights, indicators and splitter on!

That's about everything!

Yeah they are worth it for sure, make it look so much better from the front! :)

Got mine from Ebay mate payed that little bit extra as it wasn't straight from VW but oh well...

they really do make the car look soo much better! they look all gay and girlie from the fron without one! same with the spoiler on the boot lid!

Yeah the new lights just make your car look practically new I bought like new everything for the front ha.

Yeah the grills just make a nice little subtle difference don't they.

Wheels next yeah really want some Schmidt Modern lines or BBS RX2's what would you reccomend?

Cars M.O.T. ran out today but didn't even realize! Managed to get the car booked in at Kwikfit straight away which was ideal, but then the car failed due to..

1. The front lights being too high and out of line...

2. The exhaust emissions being way too high..

So had to leave my car there until Monday when they can deliver a new catalytic converter and fit it.

All in all it's going to cost me £325! £30 for the M.O.T. and £295 for the catalytic converter and it being fitted too suppose it's not too bad but yeah that's another update which kinda sucks quite a big blow!

Big blow indeed! I would've brought the car back and sourced a new part for cheaper, 295 is a lot!

On a happier note, I love how you've transformed this, very smart
