Bought this little gem a couple months ago with a blown headgasket, decided it would make a sweet daily when I've got coilies and my smoors on my karmann cabby gti. With a bit of help from friends we got it fixed and running this week- proper flies with the weber (DMTL) and g-ladersite ARB bushes make it handle NEARLY as good as my golf. Wheels turned up this mornin so got them fitted and here it is as it stands after a clean and a couple of little touches:

Plans on the next few months are to refurb the wheels in my own stylee to tie in with a lil mooneyes theme. Needs more more more cleaning (esp engine bay!) and a new rear bumper if anyone has one. Lower profile tyres and a bigger drop on the cards...got some nice front seats to try and put onto polo subframes in the next few days, see my welding skills progress!

Comments welcome- yes I know it's on balloons so thought I would run with it by detailing the Goodyears. Rally 80's specflex. :)

you need to come weld my recaro bases onto my subframes. mmm girl welders wahay

and you need to take the strips of the mk1 golf grille, clean em up, acid etch prime em and paint em a nice coat of fresh red, would look spanking and your hardcore still reppin the hood down in this weather you madheed

Thanks for all the comments people. Going to give it more of a clean and hopefully get it MOT'd tomorrow...I wanna drive it it's sooo cool the weber sounds ace. :) I might have to fold and get the tyres off the hocks put the peppays as well...
