Well was on my way home a fortnight ago from work 4 days before i was set to go to university down in Bath.

Coming through my local crossroads and some tool in a punto racing his mate pulled across the front of me instead of waiting in the middle and giving way.

Heres the end result not to mention the wiplash cuts and brusises i have at the moment.

I'm at university now and dont think ill be able to afford another GT again so might just get a crap mk4 runabout. To say I'm devastated is a major understatment. Driving a toyota aygo hire car and i prefer to walk its that much of a poor drive.

Cheers for the good times and advice that i was given whilst i had a dub though.

my insurance (Brentacre) want 1300 for me to insure another GT with them on a performance policy.

I'm getting a good sum of money for the GT but its all in process so I'm having to wait. I've then got my wiplash claim and injuries one also. To add to that I'm going for a loss of earnings claim for myself.

However i hold little hope for those claims as they take so long to come through theres no way I'm waiting that long till i buy another dub.

I am at uni on the other side of the country now so dont have time to strip the car. besides this forum is full of timewasters as I've tried selling parts on here before and i jsut get stupid offers and dreamers saying they will pick it up at the weekend but never arrive.

IF i get a job down here and can pull in some money i will buy another GT as the money i earn can pay for a night out a week and my insurance payment.

that just sucks dude poor GT

@ Neil, nah i couldnt live with a G40, I'm a worrier and stupidly anal so i dont think i could put up with some of the problems they have. Let alone afford it on insurance.

@ 13KPoloGT, Id love to but i dont have the time to do it and culdnt really face seeing it in another shell if I'm honest.

Update is a friend may have sourced me a mk4 1.3 CL so looks like ill be having that if its cheap enough. I really have no money whatsoever to mess around with.
