please not this will not come with the coilovers or wheels, although i would be willing to leave the coilovers on for the right car or for some cash on top.

I only want to swap for a loon as the boot on this isn't really big enough for my hydraulics pump and batteries so a mk2 or 3 loon would be perfect for me.

Good points: good solid shell and a pretty much blank canvass for a new owner to make it there own looks wise. mods wise it has had the gutless 1 liter spi lump ripped out and replaced with the 1.4 16v AFH (100 bhp) mpi engine and injection from a mk4 polo, the mk4 polo immobilizer is also fitted and fully functioning. the wheels are 13x7.5 power techs (i was told they were 7.5 when i bought them although there is no width stamped on them). the coilovers are TA tenics from a mk1 golf that have been modified to fit the polo, the car has also been converted to mk1 golf front hubs to work with these shocks, G40 vented front brake set up with groved disks, the exhaust is a home brew affair with the cat removed and a bigger bore stainless back box, it's got a nice note while not being so loud that it hurts your ears on the motor way.

looks wise it just it just has a badgeless grill, clear indicators and late spec rear lights fitted

Bad points:

in all honestly the body work isn't great, it is suffering from laquer peal hear and there and there are dents, the worst are under the rear drivers side light and the boot lid although there are a few others, some may just push out as they are shallow but the boot and under the light would need more to sort out. sorting the body work was next on my list of things to do.

also there is a problem with the car hunting quite badly on idle, this only started after i cleaned the throttle body out and after doing some research on here it seems this is due to the ECU needing resetting.

interested in swaps/px on a polo saloon, must have tax and test or have cash involved and i don't have to transport it here, engine size is not important. Please ignore the next few posts as this is a older sale thread i've edited rather than starting a new one.

i may be willing to do a cash deal for 900 with the coilovers but without the alloys (i'll find a set of steels to go on it) if i can find a saloon that's for sale.

i'm not quite sure what i'm doing atm mate, after some internet digging it turns out the add for the car i wanted didn't tell every thing that it should of so i'm a bit up in the air about what to do now. i've been searching ebay for any thing remotely as cool as what i was looking at and can't find any thing in my budget so don't wanna sell this for no reason as i've put a lot of work into this car over the short time i've had it. i'll have to let the stella wear off and i'll weigh up my options and see whats what when i'm sobber lol

got a polo valver chip ecu and that the piston rings have gone but ill buy the lupo gti engine of here for you to put in if you want?

as much as i love your van the rear arches on them don't like low lows and wideish wheels
