for sale is my 1993 polo 1.3cl with 164,000 miles on the clock, the previous owner before had replaced the cam belt, head gasket, oil and coolant at 140,000.

since i've had it i've had the back box replaced, gear selecting rod sleeve replaced of then which a fifth gear wa discovered , dash lights bypassed the dimmer switch because i had two switches which both didn't work so i find this way easier, o/s/f ball joint replaced, n/s/f track rod end replaced, handbraked tightened back brake drums greased, tracking adjusted and some other stuff i will add when i get home as i don't have the reciepts with me atm the car has alos been lowered on 80/60 shocks and springs from phil j which have made the ride fairly stiff but not to bad, debaged grill, clear inidicators, compomotives (13x7 with 165 55 13.) available if full asking price is reached or price can be reduced with standard 13" steels all with lots of tread. has got a sony explode cd player and two 6x9 speakers. temperature gauge is slightly temperamental and causes the temperature light to flash however i had all the cooling system and fan system chacked and is all working so it's jsut the sender/sensor which is playing up. had put bumper stip tape around the bumpers and a front splitter on the bumper, all the standard parts are available on request. All the brakes have plenty of pad and the car flew through it's M.O.T two days ago with the only advisory being the car was too low and the nearside steering coloumn deteriorating. car is taxed till 31st august and was fairly cheap, this was my first car and was quite cheap on insurance as it is £800 a year. since i've bought the car i've kept a wad of receipts for teh work done to it. The car is very neat and tidy inside with very solid bodywork however the two front seat have loose stitching to the seats so could do with a touchup with a thread and needle. The only downside to the whole od the car is that there is a tiny rust hole at the bottom however i've filled it in but would benefit from painting, recently the gearbox was leaking and required a new gear selecting seal however i had this sorted. I'd like to swap for a 6n 1.0 or 1.4 8v. three of the tyres on the compomotives are good and one has shoulder wear, two of them are pirelli's and have over 4mm tread on them with some stretch.
