Afh head bolts... =)

Featured Replies

As above. I'm ready to put the engine back together and in the coupe, but don't fancy the dealers prices. Of course I'll go with them if nothing else is available but surely i can get them from somewhere! If anyone can help please get in touch

It's dealers only mate no where else does them anymore I had to stump up 90 quid for them last year in summer it fun

I got mine from a local motor factors, couldn't of been longer than nine months ago cause it was on the engine I melted the cams on when building the mk2

I'd just pop into a few motor factors and get them to look up on their computers

Quick Google gave me this

Yeah I weren't sure about the eBay ones due to how confusing the add is, I looked twice and couldn't even see afh mentioned in the description :?

Yea it's in the main item description with that ebay seller, but when you click on the item and scroll through the list afh is no where to be seen. GSF no longer stock them for reference. I've just put the order in with enginestuff at a total of £26! I'm well happy! Can't wait to build it up and start getting some fuel economy. Cheers for the input lads.

Just to close this thread, the bolts arrived today, so thats a 2 day turn over from payment, which is less time than my local deal could get them for me, and cost only a fraction of the price. So if anyone needs AFH head bolts, get them from enginestuff.co.uk.

Thanks again for the link guy. Time to get this engine back together. :-)

here they are. Never realised you had to slacken them off half way through the tightening process!
