my mate once had a banshee scream with monsters on it that thing was a drop off machine , but shit downhill , what u use the cove for ??

I use the dirty sanchez for abusing when I'm feeling fat and lazy, singlespeed raggery and dirt mainly.

I took that picture 1/2 covered in blood as I flew off the track after hopping a 3 foot rock in a drift (narrow track) into a steep in bankment 6foot deep in thorns and brambles! twas a fun day haha.

I'm a Northern Monkey mate, usually ride the Lakes (I'm from Cumbria) so tend to venture Scotland way a lot. Based in Stoke at Uni so head over to more Wales based things as down Souf is pretty crap for riding with no hills .

That being said I've ridden a lot of places and yep I've been to chicksands - its pretty fun but well smooth and not worth the drive for me as there is hamsterly forest, or innerleithen so much closer.

Dont know your mate but if he's on southerndownhill.com I've probobly spoken to him before!

Nice car, never thought I would ever say this, but the orange indicators suit it well!! Could do with a bit of a drop but suppose with it lowered you wouldnt be able to take it through the woods.... Is the DH rig a Santa Cruz, couldnt read the frame from the pic but thought it looked like one? At the minute I got a Kona Shred for taking on the dirt and that, but its a nightmare at cross country... but it looks good so I use it lol.

I wouldnt mind lowering it, just it catches with the 50 tyres already so need to sell them and get 45s before I even consider it.

Also there are a few little bits of rust and that dint in the rear bumper from the previous woman owner so I'll sort the body work out first.

and tyre comment - I find 2.35's are a good compromise for both.

lol how big is your rear brake!!!! lol my 160mm mono m4 stops my old skool sx well enough. I'm in the process of building up 2 bikes myself, nice little xc whippet and my sx for general abuse and razzing around.

its not that big... but the bikes been thrown together with random parts in the garage, so that was off the dh bike as I'm back on the avids.

the cove cost me £250 to build fully.
