Could be a blocked jet. Insert a needle in there.

Does the pump work & is there water in there? Can you here the pump?

If the needle doesnt work, then use compressed air to blow the line out till bubbles appear @ the tank.

Could be one of a few things... Pipe split or not connected either at the washer end, or at the tank end (can you see any water coming out where it shouldn't?). Nozzle blocked. Pump knackered.

before you do what i did and flood the car with about 15ltrs of water... trace the pipe to make sure that it has not come apart at any of the joints... mine went near the rear seats

Thanks for the suggestions, will try them first thing tomorrow.

my washer pipe disconnected under the carpet in the passenger footwell, just another place to check :D

The pipes generally come apart on the PS engine bay under ABS pump, PSF footwell, PSR side of the boot compartment and in the tailgate itself.

Having a similar problem with my polo. The jet isn't spraying, pump definitely working though. Screenwash is leaking from the underside of the rear bumper when I switch the washers on, looks like its coming from a round piece of rubber, possibly a seal of some sort :?

Any ideas folks?

Just solved my own problem. Went into the boot and felt the lining was soaking, so pulled back the lining and right enough the pipe was in two pieces and still dripping everywhere.

Put the pipes back together but it was still dripping slightly so just taped it up and I hope for the best.

Sorted the problem today. I had to take a the luggage shelf seat(?) off, the seat belt reel before I could remove the panel next to the rear seats, which is wear the pipe had disconnected. Now I can clean my rear window.

Not one, but two happy endings!

And here's me who blocked mine up deliberately

If you've ever owned a mk3 you'll know why
