Sell one Passat and buy a Mk4 Polo

Very nice,tidy and innocent but not at all to my liking so plans call for:

Flat yellow paint

Purple Metaflake roof

" " Wheels

Very low on coils with chassis legs notched for driveshafts

metaflake steering wheel

extended shifter

purple fur headliner and pillars

smoothed wings with no repeators

smoothed rear with no badges or wiper

And whatever else i can come up with but for now heres a quick chop of my plans

So car landed home at 7 and by 9 was nearly stripped, wetsanded and cleaned up a whole bunch.

Just logging this afternoons progress which was rear lights out and taped car sanded all round with 240 then just have to go round with 600 tommorow, Smoothed towing eye in front bumper and started masking.

All tucked up for the night

Should be welding tommorow so bye bye side repeaters, aerial and trunk emblem then hopefully some paint at night? We shall see hey

its custard yellow often found in a tin. looking good anyway dude, your the guy with the smoothed wings for sale or did have, if so I'm sure it will be good quality work good luck

That was a "quick" chop to get an idea of the colour choices bud just couldnt be arsed finding an 8v pic thats all.

Colour will be decided by my eyes tommorow as i have 3 litres of white primer, yellow,orange and white colourants to make it how i like it then spray it all on. right gotta get back onto it as i have welding to do then another update tonight hopefully :)

thats it polomon was doing some wings yeah so might as well have some on my own car now hey?

since earlier mr postie has been and bought me these :)

Take out bumpstops and remove helpers then fit for miles of :)

Poped into halfords to pick up my paint supplies and mixing bucket

also picked up some new top mounts ready for the abuse

Got back and badge,indicators and aerial all welded and filled and flatted and filled again

Hopefully paint tommorow morning around 7am :)
