I’ve always wanted to start a progress thread so hear it goes…

The day I past my driving test.

1/11/2007

The day I bought my car. Looked like this…

For a couple of months everything was pretty much standard except for fitting a DVD Head unit…

JANUARY

First exterior mod was the GTI Fog Lights…

Then came some bass…nothing too much but it will do…a VIBE CBR10 active sub…

I then bought a GTI Grill along with the bottom bumper grill to complete the set…

I also debadged the back the same week…

Then some idiot decided to smash my mirror and leave it on the side of the road…

FEBUARY

I then fitted some retro aero wiper…they do make a difference!!!

Then the mods stop for a month or so because of the lack of funds….and college work…

Soon after the mods began ….

So I fitted a nice little aerial…

APRIL

I bought a set of 40mm Gmax lowering springs of bay for £20!!! Couldn’t go a miss…

So once they were fitted it looked like this…

MAY

I bought a GTI Splitter direct from VW.

Then decided to colour code it as wasn’t feeling the black. Not sure why lol and wasn’t sure if it would look good CC but gave it a try anyway…

The final outcome was great…

JUNE

de-wiper…

Then fitted a Clifford Concept 650 with Total Closure and boot realise..

I also sprayed my tweeter cover black…makes a huge difference..

JULY

I went away to Spain for a week…so pretty much broke but got a full time summer job with the family business which allowed the big mods to come…

So I decided to get some shoes on the car…nothing special for the GTI owners…

AUGUST

I shortened my door pins so they look flush….

Went from this…

To this….

I then got two screens of my cousin who didn’t need them so decided to fit them….

So I bought a few goodies for edition….

And this is how the car looked at the show…

SEPTEMBER

Now this is where the fun began….booked my car into the body shop last week…birthday money for my 18!!!!

Its now in the bodyshop and the car should be ready for VW PLAYERS next week....

niiice, that splitter cc job was a great move imo, so are you going to tell us what the bodyshop plans are or they a secret?

cheers mate...well everyone is asking...went down today and the had quite a lot done....need the whole passenger side re-doing because of an accident...sillly me...

but next time i got will take sme pictures...:)

if your at the polo show you might see me there...:)

sweet looks nice seen it around even park on your road now and then when i go to that shisha shop on bilton road forgot the name u should know the 1, will look out for you and have a chat.

Ordered my coilovers on friday so just waiting for that to come through hopefully by wednesday, tht will be it for a while till i sort out some funds lol, yea deffo speak to you there if I come all depends on the coilovers. Catch you soon

it was doen from my mates place www.nfengineering.co.uk located in west london..

although it was a strugle as the screen are quite big at 7"...the wires run through the seats...

was bought direct from VW for about £50 i think roughly...

then went to bodyshop to get it CC...

erm its in the bodyshop have a makeover atm...

colour concept interior is really hard to find if you see some going give me a shout :)

UPDATE: 09/09/2008

So went down to the bodyshop to see how things were getting along and took a few pictures....not going to reveall all but a little teaser...

This shows the full side beeing sprayed....dents and scratches taken out off all 4 panels from an accident...nothing huge though!!

Also a something came in the post today to go with whats going on with the bodywork :)
