i found how to take the arm off and have worked out how to get the moter out but I'm at a loss of what to use to blank the hole, i seem to remember that on one veedub you could use a tap blank for a sink, but the little plastic bit behind the wiper would need to be made flat too, and does nyone know how to stop the rear washer working, can i just pull the tube off the pump, or is there a fuse that i could easily remove.

btw do 6n2 tailights go straight in, or do you have to do some rewireing.

yea use the bit from behind the wiper arm, both bits! join them together, flush over the front then thats that. you can either bond it to the window or frame or you can taper the end for it to slide thro the hole and secure it from the inside

i tend to drop a 2p in the hole and fibreglass a bolt onto the back so it can bolted thro the glass and car with a large washer on the inside. then smooth and paint the outside as normal

i tried that will and i couldnt get a 2p in the hole
