cheers for your advice

there still illegal!!

you will get pulled for them and a fine.

not worth the hassle

just stick with the legal ones

Fulllly legal uk metal dubmeister jobbies ftw.

from the 1st of November this year all plates without a BritishStandards stamp on the bottom are illegal!!

so basically i wouldnt bother.

people like dubmeister arent even allowed to sell them as show plates. i guess theyll just call them 'german import plates' or something. ha

Once the ban comes in, Buy them outside of the UK

doesnt make em legal tho does it

Theres no way you can stop people selling decorative number plates to hang on your bedroom wall surely ;)

Just say they came one the car when you bought it and you didn't know the law on them :ninja:

they'll see right through that, its your responsibility once you buy that car that it is legal.

Erm.....You a cop? :ninja:

indeed i am...

indeed i am...

when i was at gsf last gettin numerous parts for my golf the guy there said that they were starting to make LEGAL pressed plates uk font though iirc...i need to go gsf soon so i think i will be investing in some, and he said they are fine once the law comes in on 1st November

indeed i am...

Oh...well.......dont take it too badly, I'm sure you will get over it!

Anyway, most numberlplate offences are covered under a rectification notice. Just dont send it in and wait for it to get thrown out of court. Worked for me the last two times anyway! :unibrow:

haha, nah am not really, i fix planes

i just think pressed, german plates arnt worth the risk, and cant see the point in playing the law hoping you dont get caught out
