Comments:

- Bought it at 49k with full vw service history...£650 which i was rather impressed with...has all the 16v specs i think, ABS elec windows and mirrors etc

Removing the door protectors

Once i took the protectors off it left the glue as some of you might already know...Which is a pain but abit of white spirit sorted it out

Drivers side once finished

Both sides finished, car in full...

Also debadged the boot lid, similar job just much less time consuming, will update tomorrow with before and after

Well i probably done it abit different to everyone else....

I left it a day to soak in the rain, then it probably took me about half an hour per side...Which isn't bad going..

I used white spirit and a casino membership card (same shape as a credit card)

get a credit card / a card like that u dont use anymore and just ease it underneath the badge...then keep pushing

Then you'll have to get shot of all the glue with some white spirit, white spirit (L) lmao

hahaha! meh thast nothing man, i must of spent £500 on parts and I'm about 1/4 of the way through what i want to do to it.. the car cost me half of what I've spent already haha

p.s. mk5 rears look best on white mk4's imo, best colour for them i say

Planned to mate just got the v5 through today so tomorrow it'll be

Mk5 rears fitted, attempted to stick my bit ripspeed dvd/cd/mp3 player in but the wiring has been messes about with in the car I'm leaving it to halfrauds to fit for me

Brake calipers painted red, plan on buying new discs and calipers (pre painted red / will paint them before fitting)

But for now this will do

Yea i agree most people do do it but clear indicators ftw,

car looks really nice lots of potential,

maybe some spacers needed to perfect the stance

alex id leave orange indicators in...much nicer on a white motor i reckon...
