Hi all just a couple of pics of my newish car....owned for a couple of months but hadnt posted it yet....my 3rd and latest skyline.

couple of other bits

hopefully between 320 and 350 hp but need to get it rolling roaded to check

wanted to mod the old one for more power and these are 30 hp more standard and this one had some mods over my old one. I'm guessing my 33 was qround 290-300hp after the rolling road showed i had to replace a failing fuel pump (260 bhp at 6psi.....should have been running at 12psi lol). basically i was toying with getting a r33 gtr but for the same money i could get a 34 gtt so i thought i would look at both and i prefered the looks of the 34 having seen it against my 33 and its running gtr power anyway so i got this instead. couldnt aford a 34 gtr there still 20,000 + for a good one.

yes new place.....wanted something cheaper to rent with not quite so much lawn to mow.

spilz a GTR has 100 more cc's, and another turbo! some chassis improvements aswell, weighs a bit more like 150kg more iirc

probably gonna try and get near 400 hp and call it a day as that will be plenty......after christmas i will take it to get it rolling roaded and see exactly what its got.......i raced a db9 and matched this to a pretty good speed then stopped as i didnt want to get nicked....again... but db9 volantes are better for higher speed than mine say 180/190mph in them lol.

mines rear wheel drive only with switchable traction control

gtrs are 2 wheel drive then swich to four as and when required....very clever setup really.

got the same chasis as the gtr just only rear wheel drive as opposed to switching 2 to 4 as on gtr. other than that its got narrower wings as gtrs are 30mm wider. thats about it really....other than its half the price of a 34 gtr.

was my first go at the pod and it was the first event of the year so track conditions were not as good as they could have been......also i had traction troubles as i have some really really cheap tyres on at the mo.....i even slipped loads with traction control.....so being an auto i couldnt break boost as i span to much so it was like racing a manual without reving it at the start....so that sucked

with better tyres (goodyear eagle f1 gsd3's on there way) conditions and more practice i should be looking at high 13's or if i get really good maybe mid 13's i hope. lol. will be going back hopefully near the end of the year with a little more power....

although power wasnt my problem it was more the traction.
